Since Seville is in the birth region of Flemenco, watching a show is a must for me during my visit to the city. After compared reviews of several Flamenco venues, I chose Casa de la Memoria for my very first Flamenco experience, and the place didn’t disappoint. The performance hall is a relatively tight space with three rows of seating surrounding the stage. This arrangement allows maximum impact from the performance, both visually and acoustically, not mentioning the amount of strong emotion emanating from the stage. Overall, the show was beyond amazing for a first-timer. The dancers, the singers and the guitarist choreographed seamlessly. Making it hard to believe the performance was completely improvised. We arrived 15 minutes before the performance time and were lucky enough to get in, although sitting in the back corner, on a Sunday. For those who would like front row seating, the host recommends arriving at least half an hour early to secure the desired seating. Highly recommended!

📍 Casa de la Memoria – Centro Cultural Flamenco | Seville Located in the heart of Seville’s old town, Casa de la Memoria is a cultural venue dedicated to preserving traditional flamenco. Set in a restored 15th-century noble house, the theater features a charming Andalusian courtyard and offers an intimate setting with no sound amplification — just pure, raw flamenco. I booked through GetYourGuide for €44 (two people). Note that the ticket doesn’t include fast-track entry — you’ll need to wait in line, but hand fans are handed out, which helps during warm evenings. The venue is small and cozy, so arrive early to get a good seat. The performance lasted about an hour — perfect for first-timers. The dancers, singer, and guitarist were in perfect harmony, delivering high energy and deep emotion. One of the best flamenco shows for anyone seeking an authentic experience. 💃

Only wait was a line to get in prior. This show was so amazing! The dancers were so intense and filled with emotion that it brought me to tears. It was so entertaining! My disabled son really enjoyed it also. He loved the guitar, clapping and foot work so much! I wish he could’ve had a pic with the entertainer’s. However, I understand that would take a lot of time before the next show. Not sure how many shows these performers do per day but it felt like they really gave their all in the show! The costumes and singers were great! The lighting and decor set for a calm and intimate mood. I felt taken back to that era. Truly spectacular!

Casa de la Memoria is an absolute gem! The venue itself is charming and full of character, creating a cozy and intimate vibe. The stage, though small, delivers a powerful impact during the performances, drawing the audience into every moment. The staff are warm and helpful, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Most importantly, the performances were outstanding — from the soul-stirring singing to the mesmerizing dance moves, every element was breathtaking. Even though I didn’t understand the language, the emotion and energy in the music and dance transcended all barriers. I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend Casa de la Memoria to anyone looking for an unforgettable cultural experience!

Google
Great show and performance from all involved. Do arrive early doors open 20 mins before show starts and seats fill up quickly.. don’t be the person coming in at show start time and annoyed that you can’t get a prime seat! Gets very hot but they give out free fans! Nice addition after you can buy jewellery or magnets all homemade by a local artist.

Good show . A lil funny they have no seating system . Luckily we got good seats because we reached early. Also just folklore signing should be avoided . We come for flamenco . Some explanation about the dance / culture / singing / significance of steps explained would go a long way.

A Magical First Flamenco Experience at Casa de la Memoria On 26th July, I had the incredible experience of seeing my first ever flamenco performance at Casa de la Memoria on Calle Cuna 6 in Sevilla and it was truly magical. The setting is small and intimate, which made the performance feel incredibly personal and powerful. You could feel every beat, every movement, and every emotion so intensely. The dancers, singer, and guitarist were all absolutely captivating—so passionate and talented, it felt like a privilege just to be there. As someone who had never seen flamenco before, I didn’t know what to expect, but this performance completely exceeded anything I could have imagined. It wasn’t just a show—it was a deeply moving and authentic cultural experience. If you're visiting Sevilla and want to see flamenco in its purest, most heartfelt form, I can’t recommend Casa de la Memoria enough. An unforgettable evening.

We read the online reviews for this place and decided to stop by. Inez gave us a great tour of the museum. She is very knowledgeable and passionate on the topic of Flamenco, and we ended up buying tickets for the show the following evening. We were not disappointed. There were 3 dancers (2 females, 1 male), 2 singers, and a guitar player. Very engaging and lively. Knowing a bit of the background of Flamenco made it so much more enjoyable. Highly recommend this show. Note - Show up early to select your seats.

Yelp
What a fantastic show. We had 3 dancers (2 ladies and 1 man), 2 singers and a guitarist and they put in a fabulous show! They started as a group and then each individual came on to leave a little piece of their heart on the stage: the emotion in each performance was palpable! Really well put together: we enjoyed it all!! This is a show not to miss!! No drinks or food for sale here: this performance is more of a theatre style production and the room is small and intimate: perfect for this type of show: ENJOY! Olé!!

Yelp
When in Spain, gotta see a flamenco show! It was easy to book tickets online but it wasn't clear that you had to swap for physical tickets once there. So it was a tad inconvenient to be waiting in line for 30min (first come first serve seats) and then once started to file in, they said physical tickets only. A sign would've been helpful or someone going through the line beforehand. I do recommend coming 30-40min before show starts to get the best seats. We got middle front row seats which was awesome cause it was the best view in the house - got to see their footwork and facial expressions (they didn't really perform at the sides, they kept to middle of stage). It was a small intimate show, no food/drinks which is best kind of flamenco show since no distractions. Everyone was so talented, it was truly a treat to see!

Yelp
Flamenco originated in Andalusia region and one of the thing I wanted to do was to watch flamenco show while in Seville. This particular place is very small. Unlike what I expected, no food is served. Open seatings, first come first served. I was told to arrive 30 minutes before the show to start lining up and when I arrived 35 minutes before the show time, they already had about a dozen people. I was able get a seat, center front row. It's really cozy inside and I felt the power of dancers and musicians up so close. My feet were touching the stage and vibration I felt on my feet made it more exciting. They were so close, I saw them sweating so much from dancing. The danders, singer and guitar player were all talented. One hour show ended very quick. Compared to dinner show, price is very reasonable. They had early show available to enjoy before dinner time. Flamenco show is available anywhere in Spain nowadays but I was glad to be able to see see where it originated.

Yelp
Such a lovely experience that I would happily be back again. It's a very intimate space so you should buy tickets in advance. We attended the later show so that we could experience a little more of the Spanish night life. This is a much more traditional show that highlights the different parts of flamenco: dancing, music and singing. Each person on that stage is a master at what they do and seem to come alive through their art. I typically try and avoid what may sound too touristy but this was one of my favorite experiences in Sevilla.

Yelp
This was my first flamenco show. It was an awesome experience. I recommend getting your ticket in advance and arriving early to get the best seat. The space is very intimate, expect to be close to your neighbor. The performance was amazing, the years of training it must have taken to get those moves. My favorite performer was the male performer at the end. I did not care for the singing, his voice was not to my liking. The guitar player and female flamenco dancer were also great performers. Casa del la Memoria restricts phone and video recordings are prohibited until the very end of the show. I was unable to give five stars for the following reasons, this location had poor air conditioning, only two flamenco dancer, and the singer of the show. I do recommend Casa de la Memoria and I would return.

Yelp
I thought the show at Museo de Flamenco was much better. The show at Casa de la Memoria featured 1 female and 1 male dancer, 1 guitarist and 1 male singer. There is no amplification but I thought the guitar was so loud that it overpowered the singer and the sound of the shoes. There was only one costume change. While the dancing was good, I felt the dancing at the Museo de Flamenco showed more expertise. The auditorium is fairly large, and one good thing is that there is plenty of leg room in front of the seats. Cost is 18 euros.

Yelp
I am not a big fan of dancing, but I have to say this was pure entertainment. Amazing guitarist, dancers, and singer. Huge fan of flamingo now

Yelp
My favorite meal in Sevilla. Tuna with peppers, spinach with garbanzos, snails in broth, sangria. Make reservations for the flamenco show each night at 7:30. There's a theater adjoining the restaurant. But make site to eat here afterward. Live flamenco guitar, singing, and a great environment enrich the already wonderful tapas. It's set back off the big street, so not overrun with tourists. I'll be back next time I'm in the city.

Yelp
Wow! This was my first Flamenco experience, and it was amazing! The passion and expression in the performers was excellent, and I really enjoyed the music and dance. For our show, there was a singer, a guitarist, a female dancer, and a male dancer. For the first act, they were all involved, then the guitarist did a solo, then the male dancer did a solo with the singer and guitarist, and the last part was the female with the singer and guitarist. It was a really great one hour performance! They don't let you take pictures until the end for like five minutes though, so that's sort of a bummer. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This was our first Flamenco show and we felt somewhat ripped off. 18 euros per person and the show was mostly filler music while the female dancer changed outfits. There was a total of 3 dances which were good but we paid to watch dancing not listen to filler music. The artists appeared to be going through the motions and not engaged, and sat talking while the guitarist played on. When the dancers were dancing the show was good, but that was about 12 minutes out of the hour long show. The guitarist worked hard and if you want to hear a guitarist play with a little dancing and a singer wining in the background than this show is for you. Too bad because our overall experience in Seville has been wonderful.

Yelp
This is an awesome place to come experience traditional flamenco! The stage area is intimate and there are just 2 rows of chairs in a U shape. The footwork of the dancers is amazing. The musicians (guitarist and singer) are also crazy good. No video-taping, and only photography allowed towards the end (when the dancers are not doing fancy footwork). We came here for the "early" show at 7:30pm on a Sunday, and then went to dinner afterwards. That was definitely the better option because there were fewer people than the later 9pm show. The show lasts about 1 hour. Come a little earlier to get a good seat, though honestly there's not a bad seat in the house. I'm definitely glad we went to a show here instead of going to a tourist trap where they serve you mediocre food and provide mediocre performance. Definitely would recommend this place to others visiting Sevilla!

Yelp
One of my favorite experiences in Spain. The 1-hour show was mesmerizing and breathtaking. The skill of the dancers and their fast, fancy footwork is incredible. There are 2-3 rows of chairs arrayed in a sort of semicircle around a small courtyards where the dancers, singer and guitar player perform. Since the seats are all on the same level, you'll definitely have the best view if you arrive early for first-come, first-serve seating. My wife was determined to have front-row seats, so we arrived about an hour before the show started (~8 p.m. for ~9 p.m.) show. We were #3 and #4 in line. I don't know what time the #1 and #2 folks arrived, but I have to tip my hat to them. Frankly, you could probably arrive a little later (say 8:15) and still get a good seat. The doors open around 8:45, so do prepared to stand for a little while. As others have stated, it's probably a good idea to make reservations at least a day in advance to make sure you can get tickets for your desired show. I think there are typically 2-3 shows per night. For most of the show, no picture-taking is allowed, which lets the performers weave their spell without the distractions of camera flashes. At the end of the show, there is a brief photo-taking period where everyone can take their best shot to preserve a memory of one of the pinnacles of Spanish culture and even perhaps one of the greatest music-dance art forms in the world.

Yelp
Definitely go here for is a solid 15 euro flamenco show. I've been twice and have a third planned because the dancers and musicians are better than many other venues in town for these recurring-type shows. It is a traditional form of flamenco, however, because of the professional level of the performers there individual and contemporary personalities do appear. You can see the list of performers on their website to be sure you know who will be on stage. As mentioned, it is just a venue, no food or drinks. Tickets can be easily purchased ahead of time or you can call in for a reservation. Finally - if you are there in the dead of summer, be prepared to melt. While the courtyard that acts as the venue is beautiful, there is absolutely no fresh air inside and it gets hot.

Yelp
This place was recommended to me by two people - both with ties to flamenco or Spain. I plan to check it out tonight and I'll be back with my review!

Yelp
Alternately the most crazy and boring flamenco show I have been to. The stage setup is pretty awful, because if you are on the sides of the stage your view is going to be crappy. Unlike other flamenco locations where people start showing up 15 minutes before the show starts, I got here 30 minutes early and the place was mostly full and I got a crappy seat on the side. The male dancer was decent, but kind of boring. There were 2 female dancers, who seemed to incorporate several exorcisms into their dances. One dancer whipped around so violently that shit was flying from her hair during the dance. I couldn't distinguish the last dance they did from the first. The guitar interludes were extremely slow and mellow and I couldn't wait for them to be over.

Yelp
This was my first experience watching a flamenco performance. I was blown away by the passion of the performers, the way they were seemingly entranced by the music and dance. Simply AMAZING. Show is for an hour for 18 euros; two shows a night at 730 pm and 9 pm. We called the day of performance and reservations were easy to obtain.

Yelp
Just adding my voice to the chorus of those who celebrate the artists who perform here. Casa de la Memoria is a very small venue - a stage with three rows of seating in a U around the stage, and a balcony with seating. From what I can tell, the program is slightly different every night - last night, there were a few "acts" - a male vocalist with a male guitarist, then a male dancer, then the guitarist soloing, and then a female dancer. All of the artists were amazing - and given the intimacy of the venue, you could see absolutely everything - facial expressions, footwork, subtle movements of fingers and wrists. We bought tickets for the 9PM show, and by 8:30/8:35, there was a line of 20 people or so outside (mind you, it's late October, so I'm sure during the height of tourist season, it's packed). That said, there are no bad seats here, but you should call ahead of time to make a reservation. NOTE: If you are getting info from the Lonely Planet book, Memoria has moved - it's on c/ Cuna 6. The address listed in the 2013 guide book is not correct. NOTE2: The tickets are €16 per person.

Yelp
If you're anything like me during your Seville trip, you'll be paranoid about anything that may sound remotely touristy or attract the wrong kind of foreign attention. Is it touristy? yes, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The dancers here were PHENOMENAL (the best I've seen throughout my visit to Spain). You could really tell they received professional training. So what if people around you are speaking english!!! Isn't the goal to see and hear really great flamenco? Just come, you won't be disappointed.

Viren S.

Yelp
First time at a flamenco show. Really enjoyed it but wasn't really blown away. Maybe I was expecting too much.

Denny C.

Yelp
It's been three hours since we experienced the show and we are still talking about it. It was Phenomenal, Passionate - their artistry has completely blown me away. 5 stars! Bravissimo!!!!

David B.

Yelp
This was our first visit to see flamenco while in Seville and it was extraordinary. Riveting and passion filled, I felt transported by the presence and skill of both the musicians and dancers. Highly recommended though what all the other reviews say about booking beforehand and getting there early was true. Get a good floor seat. It's worth the early effort and allows you to feel the vibrations off the wooden stage. A cherished memory.

VB M.

Yelp
I was excited about seeing the Flamenco performed at the Casa de la Flamenco on out trip to Sevilla. After making reservations months in advance, our family of 3 arrived in plenty of time for the 9 pm show. Unfortunately many others arrived much earlier and had taken all the seats with a view of the stage for themselves or for others who never seemed to arrive. This meant that we could not find 3 seats (with a view of the show). The owner of this cultural extravaganza is obviously more interested in maximizing their profit than in providing a truly full enjoyable experience for their customers. We found 2 additional wooden chairs with a partial view but that was the best we could do. So mother and child took the 2 partial view uncomfortable wooden chairs to watch the show while I chose to wait outside and enjoy a cold beer across the street. Much better to enjoy a cold beer in a comfortable chair than a partial view of a cultural event in an uncomfortable chair where I was guaranteed to get more and more frustrated at an owner that cares more about ripping off tourist than providing a decent seat to a cultural event by a full paying client. While they offered to let me return another night, they discard my suggestion at refunding part of my purchase price.

Nicole C.

Yelp
Although the $18 ticket makes it a little more expensive than others, this was the most highly recommended show to us, and we were not disappointed! There are no photos allowed during the show, but you sit in a small covered courtyard in a very intimate setting. Read a little about the history of flamenco and gypsies in Spain before attending a show. In the most traditional performance, this emotional song and dance is improvised through the performance with the guitarist and dancer playing off of each other. That is what we were able to see at the Centro Cultural Flamenco, rather than a choreographed version, and it was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend checking this out if you have time!

Lai Y.

Yelp
Absolutely breathtaking! Intimate venue, definitely a must-see in Seville. We were so close to the performers and could see very clearly the footwork and expressions. Very well worth the money.
