Just adding my voice to the chorus of those who celebrate the artists who perform here. Casa de la Memoria is a very small venue - a stage with three rows of seating in a U around the stage, and a balcony with seating. From what I can tell, the program is slightly different every night - last night, there were a few "acts" - a male vocalist with a male guitarist, then a male dancer, then the guitarist soloing, and then a female dancer. All of the artists were amazing - and given the intimacy of the venue, you could see absolutely everything - facial expressions, footwork, subtle movements of fingers and wrists.
We bought tickets for the 9PM show, and by 8:30/8:35, there was a line of 20 people or so outside (mind you, it's late October, so I'm sure during the height of tourist season, it's packed). That said, there are no bad seats here, but you should call ahead of time to make a reservation.
NOTE: If you are getting info from the Lonely Planet book, Memoria has moved - it's on c/ Cuna 6. The address listed in the 2013 guide book is not correct.
NOTE2: The tickets are €16 per person.
